Healthcare Programs — CNA, LPN, Phlebotomy, HHA
CTI's healthcare programs prepare students for high-demand careers in nursing, patient care, and laboratory services. The Nursing Assistant and Practical Nursing programs are approved by the Florida Board of Nursing.
Practical Nursing (LPN)

Nursing Assistant (CNA)
Florida Prometric CNA ExaminationBecome a Certified Nursing Assistant in just 6 weeks. CTI's CNA program includes 40 clinical externship hours in hospital and long-term care settings, preparing you for the Florida Prometric CNA exam and for the realities of patient care from day one.
Home Health Aide
The fastest path into a healthcare career CTI offers. In 3.5 weeks, you'll gain the practical skills to provide dignified, compassionate care to patients in their homes — and be ready to work for agencies, hospice services, or private clients.
Phlebotomy
MedCA Phlebotomy Technician CertificationBecome a certified phlebotomist in 6 weeks. CTI's Phlebotomy program covers venipuncture, capillary draws, pediatric draws, specimen handling, and infection control — with preparation for the MedCA Phlebotomy Technician Certification Exam included.
Skilled Trades Programs — HVAC, Electrical, Welding
CTI's trades programs train students for high-demand, well-paying careers in construction, manufacturing, and building systems. All trades programs are 36–42 weeks and include both classroom and laboratory instruction.
HVAC Technology
EPA 608 CertificationTrain for one of Florida's most in-demand trades in under 12 months. CTI's HVAC program covers system installation, refrigeration, ductwork, electrical systems, troubleshooting — and includes preparation for the EPA 608 certification, a legal requirement for most HVAC work.
Electrical Technology
Train for entry-level employment as an electrical technician in 36 weeks. CTI's Electrical Technology program covers the National Electric Code, residential and commercial wiring, AC/DC circuits, home automation systems, motors and controls — taught in an industry-standard lab by instructors with real field experience.
Welding Technology
AWS Welding CertificationsDevelop skills in fillet welding, SMAW, MIG, TIG, structural welding, and pipe welding (2G, 5G, 6G) in a state-of-the-art welding lab. Graduates may be eligible for AWS welding certifications. Welding is the backbone of construction, manufacturing, and infrastructure — and skilled welders are consistently in short supply.
All programs require applicants to be at least 18 years of age with a valid state ID and Social Security card. Most healthcare programs require a background check (Level II), immunization records, a physical exam with TB test. CTI does not participate in federal Title IV financial aid programs.
